This is a community event where women in our community open their decorated homes for viewing.
Following is a special luncheon where Soroptimist members decorate tables. You can see from the pictures that these are not your ordinary tables.
This event is usually held on the 2nd Saturday in December. Ticket prices are $35 and are available from any Soroptimist member. There are many door prizes and raffle baskets available to win. Another community event where women invite ticket holders to visit their lovely gardens. It is amazing what is behind the fence in the backyards of many Taftians. So much creativity and beauty. This event is held in late April or early May each year. A salad luncheon follows where Soroptimist members decorate their tables in garden themes. The centerpiece at each table is raffled off. There are also door prizes for ticket holders.
Tickets are $35 and available from any Soroptimist member.
